1. כללי
אתר ושירות “Chordix” (להלן: “השירות”) מופעלים על ידי Chordix (להלן: “המפעיל”). תנאים אלה מהווים הסכם מחייב בינך לבין המפעיל. עצם הכניסה לשירות והשימוש בו מהווים הסכמה מלאה לתנאים. אם אינך מסכים לתנאי כלשהו — אינך רשאי לעשות שימוש בשירות.
התנאים מנוסחים בלשון זכר מטעמי נוחות בלבד ומופנים לכל המגדרים.
2. מהות השירות
השירות הוא כלי טכנולוגי המנתח קובץ שמע שהמשתמש בוחר, ומפיק ממנו הערכה אוטומטית של סולם, קצב, מבנה ורצף אקורדים בדמות “דף אקורדים”. הניתוח מתבצע במלואו בדפדפן שבמכשיר המשתמש; קובץ השמע אינו נשלח לשרתי המפעיל ואינו נשמר על ידו.
לעומת זאת, ניהול החשבון מחייב שמירת מידע בשרת, וכן נשמרת בחשבונך תוצאת הניתוח — לא ההקלטה. תוצאה שנשמרת בחשבונך אינה גלויה למשתמשים אחרים: בשירות אין ספרייה ציבורית, קישורי שיתוף או אמצעי אחר לפרסום דפי אקורדים לציבור. הפירוט המלא נמצא במדיניות הפרטיות, המהווה חלק בלתי נפרד מתנאים אלה.
3. כשירות להשתמש
השימוש מותר למי שמלאו לו 18 שנים, או לקטין באישור אחראי עליו. שימוש בשירות מהווה הצהרה כי אתה עומד בתנאי זה.
3א. חשבון משתמש והתחברות
חלק מיכולות השירות — ניתוח שיר ושמירת היסטוריה — מחייבות חשבון. ההתחברות אפשרית באמצעות חשבון Google, חשבון Discord, או כתובת אימייל עם קוד חד‑פעמי, ואין בשירות סיסמה נפרדת. בהתחברות דרך ספק חיצוני, השימוש כפוף גם לתנאי השימוש של אותו ספק.
אתה אחראי לשמירה על החשבון שבאמצעותו אתה מתחבר (Google, Discord או תיבת הדוא"ל) ולכל פעולה שתיעשה בשירות באמצעותו. חשבון אחד מיועד לאדם אחד; אין להעביר, למכור או לשתף חשבון. המפעיל רשאי להשעות או לסגור חשבון שנעשה בו שימוש לרעה, שימוש בניגוד לתנאים אלה או שימוש בלתי חוקי.
אתה רשאי לבקש את מחיקת חשבונך בכל עת בפנייה ל‑chordix.business@gmail.com. מחיקת החשבון מוחקת גם את היסטוריית הניתוחים.
3ב. השירות ניתן ללא תשלום
נכון למועד עדכון תנאים אלה, השירות ניתן ללא תשלום: ניתוח שירים, תיקוני אקורדים, טרנספוזיציה, הדפסה וייצוא — ללא עלות וללא הגבלת כמות. אין מנוי, אין חיוב, ואין צורך ברכישה כלשהי כדי להשתמש בשירות.
המפעיל רשאי לשנות את היקף השירות הניתן ללא תשלום, או להוסיף בעתיד רכיבים בתשלום; במקרה כזה יעודכנו תנאים אלה מראש.
3ג. תשלום, תשלומים והחזרים — אם וכאשר יופעלו
נכון להיום אין בשירות רכישה, חיוב או סליקה. אם יוצעו בעתיד חבילות בתשלום, לפני כל חיוב יוצג מסך סיכום הזמנה ובו: מה נרכש; המחיר המלא בשקלים חדשים, כולל מע"מ; ואם התשלום מתחלק — מספר התשלומים, הסכום של כל תשלום והסכום הכולל, וכן כל ריבית, עמלה או הפרש בין מחיר במזומן למחיר בתשלומים. החיוב יתבצע רק לאחר אישור מפורש שלך במסך זה. לא יהיה חיוב מתחדש (מנוי) בלי הסכמה מפורשת ונפרדת.
ביטול עסקה והחזר כספי יהיו לפי מדיניות הביטולים וההחזרים, המהווה חלק מתנאים אלה, ולפי חוק הגנת הצרכן, התשמ"א‑1981.
4. רישיון השימוש והגבלותיו
ניתן לך רישיון אישי, מוגבל, בלתי בלעדי ובלתי עביר להשתמש בשירות למטרותיך. אלא אם ניתן אישור בכתב מהמפעיל, אין:
- להעתיק, לשכפל, להפיץ, למכור, להשכיר או להעניק רישיון משנה לשירות או לחלקים ממנו;
- לבצע הנדסה חוזרת, פירוק או חילוץ של רכיבי התוכנה או של מודל הזיהוי, למעט במידה שהדין מתיר זאת במפורש;
- להשתמש בשירות לפיתוח מוצר או שירות מתחרה;
- להפעיל כלים אוטומטיים (crawling, scraping) או לבצע פעולה שמעמיסה על השירות או פוגעת בתקינותו;
- לעקוף אמצעי אבטחה או מגבלות טכניות.
5. זכויות יוצרים ותוכן המשתמש
השירות נועד לסייע בלמידה, בתרגול ובעבודה אישית על מוזיקה. אתה אחראי לכך שהשימוש שלך בקובץ השמע שאתה מנתח ובתוצאה שהופקה ממנו הוא כדין — למשל, הקלטה או יצירה שלך, הקלטה שקיבלת רישיון או הרשאה להשתמש בה, או שימוש שהדין מתיר, כמו שימוש הוגן לפי סעיף 19 לחוק זכות יוצרים, התשס"ח‑2007 (החוק מונה בין מטרות השימוש ההוגן גם לימוד עצמי). השירות אינו מעניק לך זכות כלשהי ביצירה המוזיקלית, בהקלטה, בלחן או במילים.
מה אינו כלול. הפקת דף אקורדים אינה מקנה זכות לבצע בפומבי, לשכפל, לפרסם, להעלות לרשת, למכור, ללמד בתשלום או להפיץ את היצירה או עיבודיה. שימושים כאלה עשויים לחייב רישיון מבעלי הזכויות, ובכללם מוציאים לאור, אקו"ם או גופי ניהול זכויות אחרים, והאחריות לקבלת כל היתר נדרש חלה עליך בלבד. אין להשתמש בשירות כדי ליצור אוסף של דפי אקורדים של יצירות מוגנות לשם פרסומו או הפצתו, ואין לפרסם או להפיץ תוצרים של השירות בניגוד לדין.
מה השירות עושה ומה לא. קובץ השמע מנותח בדפדפן שלך ואינו נשלח למפעיל. המפעיל אינו מאחסן הקלטות, אינו מציג מילים של שירים, אינו מפרסם את תוצרי המשתמשים ואינו בודק את תוכנם, ותוצאה שנשמרת בחשבונך אינה גלויה למשתמשים אחרים.
חל איסור להשתמש בשירות לצורך ביצוע עבירה, הפרת זכויות של צד שלישי, או כל שימוש בלתי חוקי אחר.
5א. פנייה בנושא זכויות יוצרים
בעל זכויות, או מי שפועל מטעמו, הסבור שהשירות משמש להפרת זכויותיו, מוזמן לפנות אל chordix.business@gmail.com ולציין: מהי היצירה או ההקלטה; במה מדובר ומדוע לדעתו מדובר בהפרה; פרטי התקשרות; והצהרה שהפרטים נכונים ושהוא בעל הזכויות או מוסמך לפעול מטעמו. המפעיל יבדוק כל פנייה בתוך זמן סביר ויפעל בהתאם לדין, ובכלל זה רשאי להסיר או לחסום תוכן השמור בשירות, ולהשעות או לסגור חשבון של מי שמפר זכויות שוב ושוב.
6. דיוק התוצאות — גילוי נאות
זיהוי האקורדים מבוסס על מודל למידת מכונה ועל עיבוד אותות. התוצאה היא הערכה הסתברותית ולא תמלול מוסמך. ייתכנו שגיאות בזיהוי הסולם, הקצב, חלוקת התיבות, סוגי האקורדים ומבנה השיר, במיוחד בהקלטות עמוסות, בשירה ללא ליווי הרמוני ברור, בשינויי טמפו ובהקלטות שאינן מכוונות ל‑A=440. אין להסתמך על התוצאות לצרכים מקצועיים, לימודיים או מסחריים בלי לבדוק אותן.
6א. העוזר המוזיקלי
בשירות פועל “העוזר המוזיקלי”, עוזר אוטומטי שעונה קודם מתוך מאגר תשובות מובנה, ועל שאלות שהמאגר אינו עונה עליהן, באמצעות מודל בינה מלאכותית. העוזר אינו אדם, ותשובותיו נוצרות אוטומטית: הן עלולות להיות שגויות, חלקיות או לא עדכניות, גם כשהן נשמעות בטוחות. העוזר נועד להסברים כלליים על מוזיקה ועל השימוש בשירות, ואינו מספק מילים של שירים או דפי אקורדים מלאים של שירים מוגנים. אין בתשובותיו ייעוץ מקצועי, לרבות ייעוץ משפטי בענייני זכויות יוצרים, ואין להסתמך עליהן בלי בדיקה. אקורדים של שיר מסוים שהעוזר מציע הם ניחוש, לא תמלול.
תשובות העוזר אינן מחייבות את המפעיל ואינן משנות תנאים אלה או את מדיניות הפרטיות; בכל סתירה, הנוסח שבמסמכים אלה הוא הקובע.
נכון להיום השימוש בעוזר ניתן ללא תשלום, והוא כפוף למגבלות שימוש הוגן, כגון אורך הודעה והיקף הבקשות בפרק זמן, שהמפעיל רשאי לקבוע ולשנות. אין להשתמש בעוזר באופן אוטומטי או בהיקף חריג, לנסות לעקוף את מגבלותיו או לחשוף את ההנחיות שלו, או להפיק באמצעותו תוכן בלתי חוקי, פוגעני או מפר זכויות (לרבות מילים של שירים מוגנים). המפעיל רשאי לסרב לבקשה או לחסום אותה.
העוזר ניתן כפי שהוא וכפי שהוא זמין (סעיף 7): העוזר, ובמיוחד חלק הבינה המלאכותית שלו, עלול להיות לא זמין, מוגבל או מושבת בכל עת, בלי הודעה מוקדמת, ואז העוזר עונה רק מתוך התשובות המובנות. אל תמסור בשיחה פרטים אישיים או מידע רגיש. מה נשלח, לאן, והאם משהו נשמר, מפורט בסעיף 3ז למדיניות הפרטיות.
7. זמינות השירות ושינויים
השירות ניתן כפי שהוא ("AS IS") וכפי שהוא זמין ("AS AVAILABLE"). המפעיל אינו מתחייב לזמינות רציפה, לתאימות לכל דפדפן או מכשיר, לשמירת נתונים או לגיבוי, והוא רשאי לשנות, להשעות או להפסיק את השירות או כל חלק ממנו, בכל עת ולפי שיקול דעתו, ללא הודעה מוקדמת.
8. קניין רוחני
מלוא הזכויות בקוד, בעיצוב, בממשק, בשם ובסימנים המסחריים של השירות שייכות למפעיל או למעניקי הרישיון מטעמו. השירות עושה שימוש ברכיבי צד שלישי בקוד פתוח, המפורטים במסך “רישיונות צד שלישי”, וכפופים לתנאי הרישיון של כל רכיב.
9. הגבלת אחריות
במידה המרבית המותרת לפי דין: השירות מסופק ללא כל אחריות, מפורשת או משתמעת, לרבות אחריות להתאמה לצורך מסוים, לאיכות, לדיוק או לאי‑הפרה. המפעיל לא יישא באחריות לנזק עקיף, תוצאתי, מיוחד או עונשי, לרבות אובדן רווח, אובדן נתונים, פגיעה במוניטין או נזק הנובע מהסתמכות על תוצאות הניתוח או משימוש בהן.
אחריותו המצטברת של המפעיל בגין כל עילה שהיא לא תעלה על הסכום ששולם על ידך בפועל בעד השירות בשנים‑עשר החודשים שקדמו לאירוע, ובהיעדר תשלום — על סך 500 ש"ח.
הגבלות האחריות שבסעיף זה לא יחולו על נזק שנגרם בזדון או ברשלנות רבתי של המפעיל. אין באמור בסעיף זה כדי לגרוע מזכויות שאינן ניתנות להתניה לפי דין, לרבות לפי חוק הגנת הצרכן, התשמ"א‑1981.
10. שיפוי
אתה מתחייב לשפות את המפעיל בגין נזק או הוצאה סבירים, לרבות שכר טרחת עורך דין סביר, שייגרמו לו בשל דרישה או תביעה של צד שלישי שעילתה הפרה שלך של תנאים אלה, שימוש בלתי חוקי שעשית בשירות, או הפרת זכויות של צד שלישי בקבצים שניתחת או בתוצרים שהפקת. המפעיל יודיע לך על דרישה או תביעה כזו בתוך זמן סביר מעת שנודע לו עליה, ויאפשר לך להתגונן מפניה. אין בסעיף זה כדי להטיל עליך אחריות לנזק שנגרם באשמת המפעיל.
11. שינוי התנאים
המפעיל רשאי לעדכן תנאים אלה מעת לעת. הנוסח המעודכן יפורסם בעמוד זה בצירוף תאריך עדכון, ויחול על שימוש שייעשה לאחר פרסומו.
12. דין וסמכות שיפוט
על תנאים אלה יחולו דיני מדינת ישראל בלבד. סמכות השיפוט מוקנית לבתי המשפט המוסמכים במחוז תל אביב–יפו, בכפוף לכל הוראת דין שאינה ניתנת להתניה, לרבות זכותו של צרכן לפי דין לפנות לבית משפט אחר.

2. ההפרדה החשובה: קובץ השמע לעומת החשבון
קובץ השמע שלך לא עוזב את המכשיר. הניתוח כולו — קריאת הקובץ, מודל הזיהוי וחישוב האקורדים — רץ בדפדפן שלך. הקובץ אינו מועלה לשום שרת, לא של המפעיל ולא של אף ספק, ולכן אין לנו אפשרות טכנית לשמוע אותו, לשמור אותו או להעביר אותו לאחר.
החשבון והתוצאה כן נשמרים בשרת. כדי לנהל את החשבון ולשמור היסטוריה, המפעיל מנהל מאגר מידע. נוסח קודם של מדיניות זו טען שאין מאגר כלל — הדבר נכון היה לגרסה שלא כללה חשבונות, ואינו נכון עוד. הפירוט המלא בסעיף 3.
3. איזה מידע נאסף בפועל
א. פרטי הזהות מההתחברות. הכניסה לשירות אפשרית באמצעות חשבון Google, חשבון Discord, או כתובת אימייל עם קוד חד‑פעמי. בהתחברות דרך Google או Discord נמסרים לנו שמך, כתובת הדוא"ל, כתובת תמונת הפרופיל ומזהה החשבון אצל הספק; בהתחברות עם אימייל נמסרת כתובת הדוא"ל בלבד. אין לנו גישה לסיסמתך, לתיבת הדואר שלך או לכל מידע אחר בחשבון. השם והתמונה מוצגים לך בממשק ונקראים מתוך אסימון ההתחברות; הם אינם נשמרים בטבלאות שלנו.
ב. פרטי החשבון. נשמרים מזהה המשתמש, כתובת הדוא"ל ומועד ההצטרפות.
ג. היסטוריית הניתוחים והספרייה. ניתוח שיר מחייב חשבון מחובר. בסיום ניתוח מוצלח נשמרים בחשבונך שם הקובץ שבחרת, הסולם, הקצב, מספר התיבות, אורך השיר, חלוקת המקטעים ורצף האקורדים שהופק. כלומר: תוצאת הניתוח נשמרת, ההקלטה עצמה לא.
ד. רשימת המתנה. רק אם מילאת את טופס רשימת ההמתנה וסימנת את תיבת ההסכמה, נשמרים כתובת הדוא"ל ושם החבילה שהתעניינת בה, לצורך אחד: לשלוח לך עדכון כשתיפתח אפשרות רכישה.
ה. תגובות. אם בחרת לשלוח תגובה דרך הטופס שבאתר, נשמרים תוכן התגובה, הדירוג (אם נתת), השפה, מועד השליחה ומזהה החשבון שלך. התגובות משמשות לשיפור השירות בלבד, אינן מתפרסמות באתר, ולא יפורסמו בלי אישורך המפורש. אל תכלול בתגובה מידע רגיש. ניתן לבקש את מחיקתן בכל עת.
ו. מיקרופון (טיונר). הטיונר שבעמוד הכלים מבקש גישה למיקרופון או לכרטיס הקול רק כשאתה מפעיל אותו. הקול מנותח במכשירך בלבד כדי לזהות גובה צליל; הוא אינו מוקלט, אינו נשמר ואינו נשלח אלינו או לאף צד שלישי, והגישה נסגרת כשעוצרים את הטיונר או עוזבים את העמוד.
ז. העוזר המוזיקלי. העוזר שבפינת המסך עונה קודם מתוך מאגר תשובות מובנה שפועל בדפדפן שלך בלבד, וכל עוד התשובות האלה מספיקות, דבר מהשיחה אינו נשלח. רק כשהן אינן מספיקות, נשלחים לרכיב השרת של המפעיל ב‑Cloudflare, לצורך עיבוד במודל בינה מלאכותית (סעיף 5): טקסט השיחה הנוכחית (ההודעות שכתבת בה ותשובות העוזר), שפת הממשק ואיזה עמוד באתר פתוח (למשל “טיונר” או “דף אקורדים”). אם לחצת במפורש על “צירוף הדף הפתוח”, נשלח גם סיכום של דף האקורדים הפתוח: סולם, קצב, משקל, שמות המקטעים והאקורדים. ההקלטה, שם הקובץ, שמך, כתובת הדוא"ל ומזהה החשבון אינם נשלחים לעוזר לעולם, ורכיב השרת אינו קורא ואינו שומר את כתובת ה‑IP שלך או כל מזהה אחר. בפעם הראשונה שבה שאלה נשלחת לעיבוד כזה, חלון העוזר מציין זאת. המפעיל אינו שומר את השיחה: היא אינה נכתבת למסד הנתונים או לאחסון במכשירך, רכיב השרת אינו רושם את תוכנה ביומנים, והיא נמחקת כשמרעננים או סוגרים את הדף, או בלחיצה על “ניקוי השיחה”. כדי למנוע עומס, השרת מגביל את מספר הבקשות הכולל, בלי לזהות מי שלח אותן. אל תכלול בשיחה פרטים מזהים או מידע רגיש. השימוש בעוזר הוא רשות; בלעדיו כל שאר השירות פועל כרגיל.
מה איננו אוספים: איננו מבקשים מספר טלפון, כתובת מגורים, תאריך לידה, מספר זהות או פרטי תשלום, ואיננו אוספים נתוני מיקום, נתוני שימוש התנהגותיים או מזהי פרסום.
מסירת המידע נעשית מרצונך. אינך חייב על פי דין למסור אותו, אך בלעדיו לא ניתן לפתוח חשבון או לשמור היסטוריה.
4. למה המידע משמש
- לזהות אותך ולאפשר כניסה לחשבון;
- להציג לך את היסטוריית הניתוחים שלך ולאפשר לפתוח אותם מחדש;
- לענות על שאלות ששלחת לעוזר המוזיקלי (סעיף 3ז).
המידע אינו נמכר, אינו מושכר ואינו מועבר לצדדים שלישיים לצורכי שיווק. אין פרסום באתר ואין שיתוף מידע עם מפרסמים.
5. היכן המידע נשמר ומי הספקים
המפעיל אינו מחזיק שרתים משלו ונשען על ספקי תשתית מוכרים. לכל אחד מהם מדיניות פרטיות ואבטחה משלו, ואלה חלות על המידע המוחזק אצלו:
- Supabase, Inc. — בסיס הנתונים ומערכת ההתחברות. כאן נשמרים החשבון וההיסטוריה. פרויקט השירות ממוקם באזור באיחוד האירופי. מדיניות הפרטיות של Supabase.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — אירוח האתר והגשתו (Cloudflare Pages), לרבות הגנה מפני תעבורה זדונית. דרך הספק עוברות בקשות הרשת שלך, ובכלל זה כתובת ה‑IP ופרטי דפדפן בסיסיים, כמקובל בכל אתר. בנוסף, רכיב שרת של המפעיל אצל ספק זה (Pages Functions) מקבל את השאלות לעוזר המוזיקלי שהתשובות המובנות אינן עונות עליהן (סעיף 3ז), ומעביר אותן לעיבוד במודל בינה מלאכותית שפועל בשירות Workers AI של Cloudflare. לפי התנאים של Cloudflare, היא מעבדת את התוכן הזה כמעבד מטעם המפעיל ואינה משתמשת בו לאימון מודלים של בינה מלאכותית. מדיניות הפרטיות של Cloudflare.
- Google — רק אם בחרת להתחבר דרך Google: שירות ההתחברות (“Sign in with Google”) ותמונת הפרופיל שנטענת משרתי Google. בעת ההתחברות נחשפים לגוגל כתובת ה‑IP ופרטי דפדפן בסיסיים. הגופנים באתר מוגשים מהאתר עצמו, ולא מ‑Google. מדיניות הפרטיות של Google.
- Discord Inc. — רק אם בחרת להתחבר דרך Discord: שירות ההתחברות, ותמונת הפרופיל שנטענת משרתי Discord. נחשפים לספק כתובת ה‑IP ופרטי דפדפן בסיסיים. מדיניות הפרטיות של Discord.
- ספריות הקוד (מנוע ההרצה של המודל וספריית ההתחברות) מוגשות מהאתר עצמו, ולא מרשת הפצה של צד שלישי.
- GitHub, Inc. — מאגר קוד המקור של האתר ותהליך הפרסום. לא נשמר שם שום מידע על משתמשים; מדובר בקוד התוכנה בלבד.
5א. איזה דין חל על המידע שלך
הדין הישראלי חל. השירות מופעל מישראל ומיועד לציבור בישראל, ולכן חלים עליו חוק הגנת הפרטיות, התשמ"א‑1981 (לרבות תיקון 13, שבתוקף מ‑14 באוגוסט 2025) והתקנות מכוחו. מסמך זה הוא גם ההודעה הנדרשת לפי סעיף 11 לחוק.
GDPR (האיחוד האירופי). השירות אינו מכוון לתושבי האיחוד האירופי ואינו מנטר את התנהגותם, ולכן להערכתנו התקנה אינה חלה עליו; העובדה שמסד הנתונים מתארח באיחוד אינה משנה זאת כשלעצמה. אם וככל שהתקנה חלה עליך: הבסיס המשפטי לעיבוד הוא ביצוע ההתקשרות איתך (חשבון והיסטוריה), הסכמתך (רשימת ההמתנה) ואינטרס לגיטימי באבטחת השירות; ועומדות לך הזכויות לעיון, תיקון, מחיקה, הגבלה, ניידות והתנגדות, וכן הזכות לפנות לרשות הפיקוח במדינתך.
CCPA / CPRA (קליפורניה). החוק חל על עסקים העומדים בספי גודל (מחזור שנתי של עשרות מיליוני דולרים, מידע על 100,000 צרכנים ומעלה, או הכנסה שעיקרה ממכירת מידע). המפעיל אינו עומד באף אחד מהם, ולכן החוק אינו חל. בכל מקרה: איננו מוכרים ואיננו משתפים מידע אישי.
בלי קשר למקום מגוריך, נכבד בקשת עיון, תיקון או מחיקה שתישלח לכתובת הדוא"ל שלמעלה.
6. העברת מידע אל מחוץ לישראל
ספקי התשתית שלעיל הם חברות זרות, ולכן המידע נשמר ומעובד מחוץ לגבולות ישראל. מסד הנתונים, שבו נשמר כל המידע האישי, ממוקם באזור באיחוד האירופי. ההעברה נעשית לפי תקנות הגנת הפרטיות (העברת מידע אל מאגרי מידע שמחוץ לגבולות המדינה), התשס"א‑2001: מדינות האיחוד האירופי הן צד לאמנה האירופית שבתקנה 2(8) לתקנות. בנוסף, המפעיל פועל לכך שכל ספק יתחייב בכתב — בתנאי השירות שלו או בהסכם עיבוד נתונים (DPA) — לעבד את המידע רק לצורך מתן השירות למפעיל, לנקוט אמצעים מספיקים להגנה עליו ולא להעבירו לאחר אלא כמותר בהתחייבות (תקנה 3). מדיניות זו מוצגת לאישורך במסך הכניסה לשירות.
העוזר המוזיקלי. שאלות שנשלחות לעיבוד בבינה מלאכותית (סעיף 3ז) מעובדות ברשת הגלובלית של Cloudflare, ולא ניתן להגביל את העיבוד הזה למדינה או לאזור מסוים. לכן הוא עשוי להתבצע גם מחוץ לישראל ומחוץ לאיחוד האירופי, לרבות בארצות הברית; נכון למועד עדכון זה, ספקי המשנה ש‑Cloudflare מפרטת לשירות זה נמצאים בארצות הברית ובאנגליה. Cloudflare מעבדת את המידע כמעבד מטעם המפעיל, לפי התנאים שלה והסכם עיבוד הנתונים (DPA) שהוא חלק מהם, הכולל התחייבויות להגנה על המידע ומנגנונים להעברת מידע בין מדינות (תקנות 2(4) ו‑3). השימוש בעוזר הוא רשות, ושליחת שאלה לעוזר מהווה גם הסכמה להעברה זו (תקנה 2(1)); אם אינך מסכים לה, אל תשתמש בעוזר. שאר השירות אינו תלוי בו.
7. אחסון במכשיר שלך, Cookie ומדידה
באחסון המקומי של הדפדפן (localStorage), במכשירך בלבד, נשמרים: העדפות הנגישות והתצוגה שבחרת, אישור קריאת תנאי השימוש, ואסימון ההתחברות שמאפשר להישאר מחובר בין ביקורים. ניתן למחוק את כולם בכל עת בניקוי נתוני האתר בדפדפן, ומחיקת אסימון ההתחברות משמעה יציאה מהחשבון.
המפעיל אינו מציב קובצי Cookie למעקב, אינו מפעיל כלי אנליטיקה או פרסום של צד שלישי ואינו בונה פרופיל התנהגות. המדידה היחידה באתר היא מונה כניסות אנונימי ומצטבר: פעם ביום, מכל דפדפן, נשלחת קריאה אחת שמגדילה מונה יומי. לא נשלח ולא נשמר שום מזהה — לא חשבון, לא כתובת IP ולא עוגייה — ולכן אי אפשר לקשר את הספירה אליך. במכשירך נשמר רק התאריך האחרון שנספר, כדי שלא תיספר פעמיים. בנוסף נספר, גם כן כמספר מצטבר בלבד, כמה ניתוחי שירים בוצעו בכל יום. ספקי התשתית עשויים להציב קובצי Cookie טכניים ולנהל יומני שרת (log) לצורכי אבטחה, איתור תקלות ומניעת שימוש לרעה — מנגנון שקיים בכל אתר ואינו בשליטת המפעיל, ואינו משמש אותו לזיהוי אישי שלך.

8. משך שמירת המידע
המידע נשמר כל עוד החשבון פעיל. עם מחיקת החשבון נמחקת איתו, אוטומטית, גם היסטוריית הניתוחים. ניתוח שלא שמרת ב“ספריית השירים” נשמר ב“היסטוריית הניתוחים” ונמחק אוטומטית כעבור 30 יום; שיר ששמרת בספרייה נשמר עד שתמחק אותו. כתובת דוא"ל ברשימת ההמתנה נשמרת עד שנשלח העדכון שביקשת או עד שתבקש הסרה, לפי המוקדם. שיחות עם העוזר המוזיקלי אינן נשמרות אצל המפעיל, ולכן אין בידינו שיחה שאפשר לעיין בה או למחוק אותה. אצל Cloudflare, הטיפול בתוכן שנשלח לעיבוד, לרבות משך שמירתו אם הוא נשמר, כפוף לתנאים ולמדיניות הפרטיות שלה; המפעיל אינו משתמש לשיחות באף שירות אחסון של Cloudflare.
9. אבטחת מידע
המפעיל פועל לאבטחת המידע בהתאם לתקנות הגנת הפרטיות (אבטחת מידע), התשע"ז‑2017, ובכלל זה: התעבורה אל השרתים ומהם מוצפנת (HTTPS); הגישה למידע מוגבלת ברמת בסיס הנתונים כך שכל משתמש יכול לקרוא את הרשומות שלו בלבד; נתוני החשבון אינם ניתנים לשינוי מצד הדפדפן אלא דרך פעולות מבוקרות בשרת; והמפעיל אינו מחזיק סיסמאות משתמשים כלל, שכן ההתחברות נעשית דרך Google, Discord או קוד חד‑פעמי שנשלח לדוא"ל, ואין בשירות סיסמה. למפעיל עצמו יש גישה מוגבלת, דרך ממשק ניהול מוגן, לנתוני החשבונות ולפרטי הניתוחים (כגון כתובת הדוא"ל, שם הקובץ, הסולם והקצב), לצורכי תפעול, תמיכה ואבטחה בלבד.
עם זאת, אין מערכת חסינה לחלוטין. המפעיל אינו יכול להתחייב שלא יתרחש אירוע אבטחה, ואינו אחראי לאבטחת המכשיר או הרשת שבהם אתה משתמש. בקרות אירוע אבטחה חמור יפעל המפעיל כנדרש לפי דין.
10. הזכויות שלך
לפי חוק הגנת הפרטיות, התשמ"א‑1981, לרבות לאחר תיקון 13 לחוק, אתה זכאי:
- לעיין במידע אודותיך המוחזק במאגר;
- לבקש תיקון של מידע שאינו נכון, שלם, ברור או מעודכן;
- לבקש מחיקה של המידע ושל החשבון.
לממש כל אחת מהזכויות האלה אפשר בפנייה ל‑chordix.business@gmail.com. נשיב לפנייה בתוך 30 יום לכל היותר, כנדרש בדין. הסרה מרשימת ההמתנה אפשרית בכל עת באותה כתובת. אם בקשתך נדחתה, אתה רשאי לפנות לבית משפט השלום בדרך שנקבעה בחוק. כמו כן ניתן לפנות אל הרשות להגנת הפרטיות במשרד המשפטים.
ביטול ההרשאה שנתת לאפליקציה בחשבון Google שלך מונע התחברות עתידית, אך אינו מוחק כשלעצמו את המידע שכבר נשמר אצלנו — לשם כך יש לשלוח בקשת מחיקה.
11. דיוור
המפעיל אינו שולח דיוור פרסומי. הודעת עדכון תישלח רק אם ביקשת זאת במפורש בטופס רשימת ההמתנה, ותכלול אפשרות הסרה, בהתאם לסעיף 30א לחוק התקשורת (בזק ושידורים), התשמ"ב‑1982.
12. קטינים
השירות מיועד למשתמשים שמלאו להם 18, או לקטינים באישור האחראי עליהם, בהתאם לתנאי השימוש. המפעיל אינו אוסף במכוון מידע על קטינים מתחת לגיל זה ללא אישור כאמור. אם נודע לך שקטין מסר מידע ללא הסכמת האחראי עליו, פנה אלינו והמידע יימחק.
13. שינויים במדיניות
מדיניות זו עשויה להתעדכן, בין היתר עם הוספת יכולות לשירות. הנוסח העדכני יוצג תמיד במסך זה בצירוף תאריך עדכון. שינוי מהותי באופן השימוש במידע יוצג למשתמשים באופן בולט.

המחויבות שלנו
אנו רואים בנגישות השירות לכלל המשתמשים, לרבות אנשים עם מוגבלות, ערך מרכזי. האתר נבנה בשאיפה לעמוד בהוראות תקנות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות (התאמות נגישות לשירות), התשע"ג‑2013, בתקן הישראלי ת"י 5568 ובהנחיות WCAG 2.1 ברמה AA.
מה הונגש באתר
- ניווט מלא במקלדת, כולל קישור “דילוג לתוכן הראשי” וסימון מיקוד ברור (ניתן להדגשה נוספת בתפריט הנגישות).
- תפריט נגישות קבוע: הגדלת טקסט, מצב בהיר, ניגודיות גבוהה, ריווח קריאה ידידותי לדיסלקציה, מצב ידידותי לעיוורי צבעים והפחתת אנימציות.
- כיבוד העדפת המערכת להפחתת תנועה (prefers-reduced-motion).
- מבנה סמנטי, תוויות ARIA לכפתורים ולחלונות, והכרזה לקוראי מסך על שינויי מצב כגון סיום ניתוח, שגיאה או החלפת אקורד.
- העברת מידע שאינו נשען על צבע בלבד: לצד הצבע מוצגים שם המקטע, שם האקורד והזמן, ובמצב עיוורי צבעים מתווספת תבנית ויזואלית.
- תצוגה מותאמת למסכים קטנים ולהגדלת תצוגה בדפדפן.
- העוזר המוזיקלי: הכפתור והחלון מופעלים במלואם במקלדת (Enter שולח, Shift+Enter יורד שורה, ו‑Esc סוגר את החלון ומחזיר את המיקוד לכפתור); לשדה ההקלדה יש תווית נגישה; ההודעות מסומנות לקורא המסך לפי הדובר, ותשובה מוכרזת פעם אחת כשהיא מסתיימת ולא מילה אחר מילה; ההנפשות שלו נעצרות ב“הפחתת אנימציות” ובהעדפת המערכת; והכפתור שלו, וגם החלון במסכים רחבים, אינם מסתירים את כפתור הנגישות. בטלפון החלון הפתוח ממלא את רוב המסך, וסגירתו (בכפתור הסגירה או ב‑Esc) מחזירה את כפתור הנגישות לתצוגה.
מגבלות ידועות
רכיבי ציר הזמן ומפת המבנה הם רכיבים גרפיים המבוססים על מיקום בזמן, ותפעולם באמצעות קורא מסך מוגבל; לצדם מוצגת תמיד תצוגת “דף אקורדים” טקסטואלית, שמספקת את אותו מידע בצורה נגישה. קובץ ה‑PDF שמורידים מהאתר נשמר כתמונה ואינו נגיש לקורא מסך; לגרסת PDF נגישה אפשר להשתמש ב“הדפסה” ולבחור “שמירה כ‑PDF” בדפדפן. נגן השמע הוא רכיב מובנה של הדפדפן וכפוף להתנהגות הנגישות שלו. תשובות העוזר המוזיקלי נוצרות אוטומטית, וקורא מסך עשוי להקריא סימני אקורדים (למשל F#m7) תו אחר תו. אנו ממשיכים לשפר.

1. בקצרה
Chordix אינו מציב קובצי Cookie משלו, אינו מפעיל כלי אנליטיקה, פיקסלים או פרסום של צד שלישי, ואינו עוקב אחריך בין אתרים. המדידה היחידה היא מונה כניסות אנונימי ומצטבר, בלי שום מזהה (ראו סעיף 4). כדי שהאתר יעבוד נשמרים במכשירך כמה פריטים בלבד, באחסון המקומי של הדפדפן. הם אינם נשלחים אלינו, למעט אסימון ההתחברות שנשלח לשרת ההתחברות כדי לזהות אותך.
2. מה נשמר במכשיר שלך
- אישור תנאי השימוש (cx_consent_v1) — כדי שלא נשאל אותך שוב בכל ביקור. נשמר עד שתמחק.
- האישור לפני הניתוח הראשון (cx_upload_ok_v2) — שיש לך זכות להשתמש בהקלטות ושדפי האקורדים לשימוש אישי. נשמר עד שתמחק, כדי שלא נבקש ממך לסמן אותו שוב.
- העדפות תצוגה, שפה ונגישות (cx_theme, cx_lang, cx_zoom, cx_sync, cx_installed, cx_side_mini, maftea-prefs) — ערכת נושא, שפה, גודל טקסט והגדרות ממשק. נשמרות עד שתמחק.
- אסימון התחברות (sb-…-auth-token) — רק אם התחברת לחשבון; מאפשר להישאר מחובר בין ביקורים. נמחק ביציאה מהחשבון.
- בדיקת תקינות המודל (cx_model_check, אחסון זמני) — נמחק עם סגירת הלשונית.
- התאריך האחרון שנספר במונה הכניסות (cx_vday) — תאריך בלבד, בלי שום מזהה; מונע ספירה כפולה של אותו דפדפן באותו יום.
- מטמון האפליקציה (Service Worker / Cache Storage) — קובצי האתר ומודל הזיהוי, כדי שהאתר ייטען מהר ויעבוד גם בלי חיבור.
העוזר המוזיקלי אינו שומר במכשירך דבר מהשיחה ואינו מציב עוגייה: השיחה קיימת רק בזיכרון הדף הפתוח, אינה נכתבת לאחסון המקומי או למטמון האפליקציה, ונמחקת כשמרעננים או סוגרים את הדף.
3. צדדים שלישיים
- Cloudflare — מארח את האתר. בבדיקה האחרונה האתר לא הציב אף Cookie; ייתכן ש‑Cloudflare יציב Cookie אבטחתי הכרחי (למשל לזיהוי תעבורה זדונית).
- Google / Discord — רק אם בחרת להתחבר דרכם: תהליך ההתחברות מתבצע באתר שלהם, ושם חלות העוגיות והמדיניות שלהם.
- גופנים — מוגשים מהאתר עצמו. אין פנייה ל‑Google Fonts.
באתר אין סרטונים מוטמעים, אין כפתורי שיתוף של רשתות חברתיות ואין קוד מעקב של צד שלישי. הקישורים ל‑Discord ול‑YouTube הם קישורים רגילים; דבר אינו נטען מהם עד שלוחצים.
4. למה אין כאן חלונית הסכמה לעוגיות
מה שנשמר במכשיר הכרחי להפעלת שירות שביקשת, ואין מעקב אישי, פרופיל או פרסום. מונה הכניסות סופר מספר מצטבר בלבד — בלי עוגייה ובלי מזהה — והוא מופעל רק אחרי שאישרת את תנאי השימוש ומדיניות הפרטיות במסך הכניסה. לכן לא נדרשת חלונית הסכמה נפרדת לעוגיות. אם נוסיף בעתיד כלי מדידה שמזהה משתמשים, או כל רכיב של צד שלישי — הוא יופעל רק אחרי שתינתן הסכמתך מראש, ומסמך זה יעודכן.
5. איך מוחקים
בהגדרות הדפדפן: “מחיקת נתוני אתר” עבור chordix.pages.dev. המחיקה מוציאה אותך מהחשבון ומאפסת את ההעדפות; היא אינה מוחקת את החשבון עצמו — לשם כך ראה מדיניות הפרטיות.

1. המצב היום
השירות ניתן ללא תשלום, ואין בו רכישה, חיוב או סליקה. לכן אין כיום עסקה שניתן לבטל או סכום שניתן להחזיר. מסמך זה קובע מראש את הכללים שיחולו אם וכאשר יוצעו חבילות קרדיטים בתשלום.
2. ביטול רכישה של חבילת קרדיטים
- ניתן לבטל רכישה בתוך 14 יום ממועד העסקה או ממועד קבלת מסמך פרטי העסקה, לפי המאוחר, בהתאם לסעיף 14ג לחוק הגנת הצרכן, התשמ"א‑1981.
- ההחזר יינתן עבור הקרדיטים שלא נוצלו. קרדיטים שכבר שימשו לניתוח הם שירות שסופק במלואו, ואינם ניתנים להחזר — למעט במקרה של תקלה (סעיף 3).
- בביטול שלא עקב פגם או אי‑התאמה רשאי המפעיל לגבות דמי ביטול שלא יעלו על 5% ממחיר העסקה או 100 ש"ח, לפי הנמוך. בביטול עקב פגם, אי‑התאמה או הפרה מצד המפעיל — לא ייגבו דמי ביטול.
- הכסף יוחזר בתוך 14 יום מקבלת הודעת הביטול, לאמצעי התשלום שבו בוצעה העסקה.
- אדם עם מוגבלות, אזרח ותיק ועולה חדש זכאים לתקופת ביטול ארוכה יותר, בתנאים הקבועים בחוק.
3. ניתוח שנכשל
אם ניתוח נכשל בגלל תקלה בשירות, הקרדיטים שנגבו עבורו מוחזרים לחשבון. אם הדבר לא קרה אוטומטית — פנה אלינו ונחזיר אותם ידנית.
4. קופונים וקרדיטים במתנה
קרדיטים שהתקבלו בחינם — מתנת הצטרפות, קופון או פיצוי — אינם ניתנים להמרה לכסף.
5. איך מבטלים
שולחים הודעת ביטול לכתובת chordix.business@gmail.com, עם שם החשבון (כתובת הדוא"ל) ומועד הרכישה. ניתן לבטל גם בכל דרך אחרת שהחוק מתיר.
6. זכויות לפי דין
אין במסמך זה כדי לגרוע מזכות שאינה ניתנת להתניה לפי חוק הגנת הצרכן או כל דין אחר.

5. הערה על נתוני האימון של המודלים
מודל זיהוי האקורדים (BTC) אומן על ידי יוצריו במסגרת מחקר אקדמי, על אוספי תיוג אקורדים מוכרים (Isophonics, Robbie Williams, UsPop2002) ועל הקלטות שאספו משירותי מוזיקה מקוונים, כמתואר במאגר הפרויקט. מודל זיהוי השירה (סעיף 6) אומן על ידי מחבריו על מאגר AudioSet. המפעיל לא אימן מודלים אלה ולא הוסיף להם נתוני אימון: הוא משתמש במשקלים שפרסמו יוצריהם, בהתאם לרישיונות המפורטים כאן, והמודלים רצים במכשירך בלבד. הודעה זו מובאת לשם שקיפות; אין בה משום מצג של המפעיל בדבר נתוני האימון או מעמדם.

The “Chordix” website and service (the “Service”) are operated by Chordix (the “Operator”). These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and the Operator. Entering and using the Service constitutes full acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree to any of them, you may not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
The Service is a technological tool that analyses an audio file chosen by the user and produces from it an automatic estimate of key, tempo, structure and chord sequence in the form of a “chord sheet”. The analysis is performed entirely in the browser on the user's device; the audio file is not sent to the Operator's servers and is not stored by the Operator.
Managing the account, by contrast, does require storing information on a server, and the result of the analysis — not the recording — is saved to your account. A result saved to your account is not visible to other users: the Service has no public library, share links or other means of publishing chord sheets to the public. Full details are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
3. Eligibility
Use is permitted for those aged 18 or over, or for a minor with the approval of their guardian. Using the Service constitutes a declaration that you meet this condition.
3a. User account and sign-in
Some of the Service's capabilities — analysing a song and saving history — require an account. Signing in is possible via a Google account, a Discord account, or an email address with a one-time code, and the Service has no separate password. When signing in through an external provider, use is also subject to that provider's terms of service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the account you sign in with (Google, Discord or email) and for every action taken in the Service through it. One account is intended for one person; accounts may not be transferred, sold or shared. The Operator may suspend or close an account that has been misused, used contrary to these terms, or used unlawfully.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by writing to chordix.business@gmail.com. Deleting the account also deletes the analysis history.
3b. The Service is free of charge
As at the date these terms were last updated, the Service is provided free of charge: analysing songs, correcting chords, transposition, printing and export — at no cost and without a quantity limit. There is no subscription, no charge, and no purchase of any kind is needed to use the Service.
The Operator may change the scope of the Service provided free of charge, or add paid components in the future; in that case these terms will be updated in advance.
3c. Payment, instalments and refunds — if and when enabled
At present the Service has no purchase, charge or payment processing. If paid bundles are offered in the future, an order summary screen will be shown before any charge, stating: what is being purchased; the full price in New Israeli Shekels, including VAT; and, if the payment is split, the number of instalments, the amount of each instalment and the total amount, together with any interest, fee or difference between the cash price and the instalment price. You will be charged only after you expressly confirm on that screen. There will be no recurring charge (subscription) without separate, express consent.
Cancellation and refunds are governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms, and by the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.
4. Licence to use, and its limits
You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own purposes. Unless written permission is obtained from the Operator, you may not:
- copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, rent or sub-license the Service or parts of it;
- reverse engineer, decompile or extract the software components or the recognition model, except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
- use the Service to develop a competing product or service;
- run automated tools (crawling, scraping) or take any action that burdens the Service or harms its proper operation;
- circumvent security measures or technical limitations.
5. Copyright and user content
The Service is meant to help with learning, practising and personal work on music. You are responsible for making sure that your use of the audio file you analyse, and of the result produced from it, is lawful — for example, a recording or work of your own, a recording you have a licence or permission to use, or a use permitted by law, such as fair use under section 19 of the Israeli Copyright Act, 5768-2007 (the Act lists self-study among the purposes of fair use). The Service grants you no right whatsoever in the musical work, the recording, the composition or the lyrics.
What is not included. Producing a chord sheet does not confer a right to perform in public, reproduce, publish, upload to the internet, sell, teach for a fee or distribute the work or arrangements of it. Such uses may require a licence from the rights holders, including publishers, ACUM or other rights-management bodies, and responsibility for obtaining any required permission rests with you alone. You may not use the Service to build a collection of chord sheets of protected works for publication or distribution, and you may not publish or distribute outputs of the Service in breach of the law.
What the Service does and does not do. The audio file is analysed in your browser and is not sent to the Operator. The Operator does not store recordings, does not display song lyrics, does not publish users' outputs or review their content, and a result saved to your account is not visible to other users.
Using the Service to commit an offence, to infringe the rights of a third party, or for any other unlawful purpose is prohibited.
5a. Copyright complaints
A rights holder, or someone acting on their behalf, who believes the Service is being used to infringe their rights is welcome to write to chordix.business@gmail.com stating: the work or recording concerned; what is involved and why they consider it an infringement; contact details; and a statement that the details are correct and that they are the rights holder or authorised to act on the rights holder's behalf. The Operator will review every notice within a reasonable time and act in accordance with the law, and may, among other things, remove or block content stored in the Service, and suspend or close the account of a person who repeatedly infringes rights.
6. Accuracy of results — full disclosure
Chord recognition is based on a machine learning model and on signal processing. The result is a probabilistic estimate, not an authoritative transcription. Errors are possible in the identification of key, tempo, bar division, chord types and song structure, particularly in dense recordings, in singing without clear harmonic accompaniment, in tempo changes and in recordings not tuned to A=440. The results should not be relied upon for professional, educational or commercial purposes without checking them.
6a. The music assistant
The Service includes the “music assistant”, an automated assistant that first answers from a built-in set of answers and, for questions those answers do not cover, by means of an artificial intelligence model. The assistant is not a person, and its answers are generated automatically: they may be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when they sound confident. The assistant is meant for general explanations about music and about using the Service, and does not provide song lyrics or full chord charts of protected songs. Its answers are not professional advice, including legal advice on copyright, and should not be relied on without checking. Chords for a specific song suggested by the assistant are a guess, not a transcription.
The assistant's answers do not bind the Operator and do not change these terms or the Privacy Policy; in case of conflict, the wording of these documents prevails.
At present the assistant is free of charge. It is subject to fair-use limits, such as message length and the volume of requests in a period of time, which the Operator may set and change. You may not use the assistant automatically or at abnormal volume, try to circumvent its limits or reveal its instructions, or use it to produce unlawful, abusive or infringing content (including lyrics of protected songs). The Operator may refuse or block a request.
The assistant is provided as is and as available (section 7): the assistant, and in particular its AI part, may be unavailable, limited or discontinued at any time, without prior notice, in which case it answers only from the built-in answers. Do not share personal or sensitive details in the conversation. What is sent, where, and whether anything is kept is set out in section 3f of the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and changes
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. The Operator does not undertake to provide continuous availability, compatibility with every browser or device, data retention or backup, and may change, suspend or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time and at its discretion, without prior notice.
8. Intellectual property
All rights in the code, design, interface, name and trade marks of the Service belong to the Operator or to its licensors. The Service makes use of third-party open-source components, listed in the “Third-party licences” screen, and subject to the licence terms of each component.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the Service is provided without any warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, quality, accuracy or non-infringement. The Operator shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damage, including loss of profit, loss of data, damage to reputation, or damage arising from reliance on the analysis results or from their use.
The Operator's aggregate liability on any cause of action whatsoever shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event, and in the absence of payment — ILS 500.
The limitations of liability in this section do not apply to damage caused wilfully or through the gross negligence of the Operator. Nothing in this section derogates from rights that cannot be contracted out of under law, including under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.
10. Indemnity
You undertake to indemnify the Operator for reasonable damage or expense, including reasonable legal fees, caused to it by a demand or claim of a third party arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or an infringement of third-party rights in the files you analysed or the outputs you produced. The Operator will notify you of such a demand or claim within a reasonable time after becoming aware of it, and will allow you to defend against it. Nothing in this section makes you liable for damage caused by the Operator's fault.
11. Changes to the terms
The Operator may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page together with an update date, and will apply to use made after its publication.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel alone. Jurisdiction is vested in the competent courts of the Tel Aviv–Jaffa district, subject to any provision of law that cannot be contracted out of, including a consumer's right under law to apply to another court.

1. Who we are and what this document is
The “Chordix” service is operated by Chordix (the “Operator”), who is the controller of the information under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981. This document describes what information is collected, why, where it is stored and what your rights are. For privacy enquiries: chordix.business@gmail.com.
2. The important distinction: the audio file versus the account
Your audio file never leaves your device. The entire analysis — reading the file, the recognition model and the chord computation — runs in your browser. The file is not uploaded to any server, neither the Operator's nor any provider's, and therefore we have no technical means to hear it, store it or pass it on to anyone.
The account and optional result are stored on a server. In order to save optional analysis history, the Operator maintains a database. An earlier version of this policy stated that there was no database at all — that was true of a version which did not include accounts, and is no longer true. Full details are in section 3.
3. What information is actually collected
a. Identity details from sign-in. Entry to the Service is possible via a Google account, a Discord account, or an email address with a one-time code. When signing in via Google or Discord, the provider gives us your name, email address, profile picture URL and your account identifier with that provider; when signing in with email, only your email address is provided. We have no access to your password, your inbox or any other information in your account. Your name and picture are displayed to you in the interface and are read from the sign-in token; they are not stored in our tables.
b. Account details. The user identifier, email address and joining date may be stored to support the account and optional history.
c. Analysis history. On completion of a successful analysis, and when you are signed in, the following are saved to your account: the name of the file you chose, the key, the tempo, the number of bars, the length of the song, the section division and the chord sequence produced. That is: the result of the analysis is saved, the recording itself is not.
d. Payments and coupons. The Service currently has no active payments, paid plans or coupon programme.
e. Waiting list. If you chose to leave an email address to be notified when payments open, the address and the pack you indicated are stored for that purpose only.
f. The music assistant. The assistant in the corner of the screen first answers from a built-in set of answers that runs in your browser only, and as long as those answers are enough, nothing from the conversation is sent. Only when they are not enough, the following are sent to the Operator's server component on Cloudflare for processing by an artificial intelligence model (see section 5): the text of the current conversation (the messages you wrote in it and the assistant's replies), the interface language and which page of the site is open (for example “tuner” or “chord sheet”). If you expressly click “Attach the open sheet”, a summary of the open chord sheet (key, tempo, time signature, section names and chords) is sent as well. The recording, the file name, your name, email address and account identifier are never sent to the assistant, and the server component does not read or store your IP address or any other identifier. The first time a question is sent for such processing, the assistant window says so. The Operator does not save the conversation: it is not written to the database or to storage on your device, the server component does not record its content in logs, and it disappears when you reload or close the page, or when you click “Clear the chat”. To prevent overload, the server limits the total number of requests without identifying who sent them. Please do not include identifying or sensitive details in the conversation. Using the assistant is optional; without it, the rest of the Service works as usual.
Provision of this information is voluntary. You are not legally obliged to provide it, but without it an account cannot be opened and history cannot be saved.
4. What the information is used for
- to identify you and enable entry to your account;
- to show you your analysis history and allow you to reopen past analyses;
- to provide the free analysis service and optional analysis history;
- to answer questions you send to the music assistant (section 3f).
The information is not sold, not rented and not transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. There is no advertising on the site and no sharing of information with advertisers.
5. Where the information is stored and who the providers are
The Operator does not hold its own servers and relies on established infrastructure providers. Each of them has its own privacy and security policy, and these apply to the information held with it:
- Supabase, Inc. — the database and the sign-in system. The account and analysis history are stored here. The legacy credit-system tables are inactive. The Service's project is located in a region within the European Union. Supabase's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and serving the site (Cloudflare Pages), including protection against malicious traffic. Your network requests pass through this provider, including your IP address and basic browser details, as is standard for any website. In addition, a server component of the Operator at this provider (Pages Functions) receives the music assistant's questions that the built-in answers do not cover (section 3f) and passes them for processing by an artificial intelligence model that runs on Cloudflare's Workers AI service. According to Cloudflare's terms, it processes this content as a processor on the Operator's behalf and does not use it to train artificial intelligence models. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google: the sign-in service (“Sign in with Google”) and your profile picture, which is loaded from Google's servers. When signing in, your IP address and basic browser details are exposed to Google. The site's fonts are served from the site itself, not from Google. Google's privacy policy.
- Discord Inc. — only if you choose to sign in with Discord: the sign-in service, and your profile picture, which is loaded from Discord's servers. Your IP address and basic browser details are exposed to this provider. Discord's privacy policy.
- The code libraries (the model's runtime engine and the sign-in library) are served from the site itself, not from a third-party distribution network.
- GitHub, Inc. — the site's source code repository and publishing process. No user information whatsoever is stored there; it holds the software code alone.
5a. Which law applies to your information
Israeli law applies. The Service is operated from Israel and is intended for the public in Israel, so it is subject to the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (including Amendment 13, in force since 14 August 2025) and its regulations. This document also serves as the notice required by section 11 of that law.
GDPR (European Union). The Service does not target residents of the EU and does not monitor their behaviour, so in our assessment the Regulation does not apply to it; the fact that the database is hosted in the EU does not in itself change this. If and to the extent the Regulation applies to you: the legal bases for processing are performance of our contract with you (account and history), your consent (waiting list) and a legitimate interest in securing the Service; and you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
CCPA / CPRA (California). That law applies to businesses meeting size thresholds (annual revenue in the tens of millions of dollars, personal information of 100,000 or more consumers, or revenue derived mainly from selling personal information). The Operator meets none of them, so the law does not apply. In any case: we do not sell and do not share personal information.
Waiting list. Only if you fill in the waiting-list form and tick the consent box, we store your email address and the bundle you were interested in, for one purpose: to send you one update when purchasing becomes available. It is kept until that update is sent or until you ask to be removed, whichever is earlier. Microphone (tuner). The tuner on the tools page asks for access to the microphone or audio interface only when you start it. The sound is analysed on your device only, to detect pitch; it is not recorded, not stored and not sent to us or to any third party, and access is released when you stop the tuner or leave the page. Comments. If you choose to send a comment through the form on the site, we store the text of the comment, the rating (if you gave one), the language, the time it was sent and your account identifier. Comments are used only to improve the Service, are not published on the site, and will not be published without your express approval. Please do not include sensitive information in a comment. You may ask for your comments to be deleted at any time. What we do not collect: phone number, home address, date of birth, ID number, payment details, location data, behavioural usage data or advertising identifiers.
Wherever you live, we will honour an access, correction or deletion request sent to the email address above, within 30 days at most. The full list of what is stored on your device is in the Cookie Policy.
6. Transfer of information outside Israel
The infrastructure providers listed above are foreign companies, and therefore the information is stored and processed outside Israel's borders. The database, in which all personal information is stored, is located in a region within the European Union. The transfer is made under the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Transfer of Information to Databases Abroad), 5761-2001: the member states of the European Union are parties to the European convention referred to in regulation 2(8). In addition, the Operator acts to ensure that each provider undertakes in writing — in its terms of service or in a data processing addendum (DPA) — to process the information only for the purpose of providing the service to the Operator, to take sufficient measures to protect it, and not to pass it on to anyone else except as permitted by that undertaking (regulation 3). This policy is presented to you for approval on the Service's entry screen.
The music assistant. Questions sent for artificial intelligence processing (section 3f) are processed on Cloudflare's global network, and this processing cannot be limited to a particular country or region. It may therefore take place outside Israel and outside the European Union, including in the United States; at the time of this update, the sub-processors Cloudflare lists for this service are located in the United States and England. Cloudflare processes the information as a processor on the Operator's behalf, under its terms and the data processing addendum (DPA) that forms part of them, which includes undertakings to protect the information and mechanisms for transfers between countries (regulations 2(4) and 3). Using the assistant is optional, and sending a question to the assistant also constitutes consent to this transfer (regulation 2(1)); if you do not agree to it, do not use the assistant. The rest of the Service does not depend on it.
7. Storage on your device, cookies and measurement
The following are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage), on your device only: the accessibility and display preferences you selected, confirmation that you have read the terms of use, and the sign-in token that allows you to stay signed in between visits. All of these can be deleted at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser, and deleting the sign-in token means signing out of your account.
The Operator does not place tracking cookies, does not run any third-party analytics or advertising tools and does not build a behavioural profile. The only measurement on the site is an anonymous, aggregate visit counter: once a day, from each browser, a single call increments a daily counter. No identifier is sent or stored — no account, no IP address and no cookie — so the count cannot be linked to you. Only the last counted date is kept on your device, so that you are not counted twice. In addition, the number of song analyses performed each day is counted, again as an aggregate number only. The infrastructure providers may place technical cookies and maintain server logs for security, fault diagnosis and abuse prevention — a mechanism that exists on every site, is outside the Operator's control, and is not used by the Operator to identify you personally.
8. Retention period
The information is kept for as long as the account is active. When the account is deleted, the account data and analysis history are automatically deleted with it. Analysing a song requires a signed-in account. An analysis that you did not save to “My song library” is kept in the “Analysis history” and is deleted automatically after 30 days; a song you saved to the library is kept until you delete it. The Service currently has no paid plans, payment records or active coupon programme. Conversations with the music assistant are not stored by the Operator, so we hold no conversation that could be accessed or deleted. At Cloudflare, the handling of content sent for processing, including how long it is kept if it is kept at all, is governed by Cloudflare's terms and privacy policy; the Operator does not use any Cloudflare storage service for conversations.
9. Information security
The Operator acts to secure the information in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Information Security), 5777-2017, including: traffic to and from the servers is encrypted (HTTPS); access to information is restricted at the database level such that each user can read only their own records; the Service does not currently maintain a customer wallet or process payments; and the Operator holds no user passwords at all, since sign-in is done through Google, Discord or a one-time code sent by email, and the Service has no password. The Operator itself has limited access, through a protected admin interface, to account data and analysis details (such as the email address, file name, key and tempo), for operation, support and security purposes only.
That said, no system is entirely immune. The Operator cannot undertake that no security incident will occur, and is not responsible for the security of the device or network you use. In the event of a serious security incident, the Operator will act as required by law.
10. Your rights
Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, including following Amendment 13 to the law, you are entitled:
- to inspect the information about you held in the database;
- to request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date;
- to request deletion of the information and of the account.
Any of these rights may be exercised by writing to chordix.business@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days at most, as required by law. If your request is refused, you may apply to the Magistrates' Court in the manner prescribed by law. You may also contact the Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice.
Revoking the permission you granted to the application in your Google account prevents future sign-in, but does not in itself delete information already stored with us — for that, a deletion request must be sent.
11. Mailings
The Operator does not send promotional mailings. An update message will be sent only if you expressly requested it in the waiting list form, and will include an unsubscribe option, in accordance with section 30A of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 5742-1982.
12. Minors
The Service is intended for users aged 18 or over, or for minors with the approval of their guardian, in accordance with the Terms of Use. The Operator does not knowingly collect information about minors below that age without such approval. If you become aware that a minor has provided information without their guardian's consent, contact us and the information will be deleted.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated, among other things as capabilities are added to the Service. The current version will always be displayed on this screen together with an update date. A material change in how information is used will be presented to users prominently.

Our commitment
We regard accessibility of the Service to all users, including people with disabilities, as a core value. The site was built with the aim of meeting the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, Israeli Standard SI 5568, and the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
What has been made accessible
- Full keyboard navigation, including a “skip to main content” link and clear focus indication (which can be further emphasised in the accessibility menu).
- A persistent accessibility menu: larger text, light mode, high contrast, dyslexia-friendly reading spacing, colour-blind friendly mode and reduced animation.
- Respect for the system preference for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion).
- Semantic structure, ARIA labels for buttons and dialogs, and screen-reader announcements of state changes such as analysis completion, errors or a change of the playing chord.
- Information is never conveyed by colour alone: alongside colour, the section name, chord name and time are displayed, and in colour-blind mode a visual pattern is added.
- A display adapted to small screens and to browser zoom.
- The music assistant: the button and the window are fully keyboard-operable (Enter sends, Shift+Enter adds a new line, and Esc closes the window and returns focus to the button); the message field has an accessible label; messages are labelled by speaker for screen readers, and an answer is announced once when it is complete rather than word by word; its animations stop under “reduced animation” and the system preference; and its button, as well as its window on larger screens, does not cover the accessibility button. On phones the open window fills most of the screen, and closing it (with the close button or Esc) brings the accessibility button back into view.
Known limitations
The timeline and structure-map components are graphical components based on position in time, and their operation with a screen reader is limited; alongside them, a textual “chord sheet” view is always available, which provides the same information in an accessible form. The PDF file downloaded from the site is stored as an image and is not accessible to screen readers; for an accessible PDF, use “Print” and choose “Save as PDF” in your browser. The audio player is a built-in browser component and is subject to its accessibility behaviour. The music assistant's answers are generated automatically, and a screen reader may read chord symbols (for example F#m7) character by character. We are continuing to improve.

1. In short
Chordix does not set cookies of its own, runs no third-party analytics, pixels or advertising tools, and does not track you across sites. The only measurement is an anonymous, aggregate visit counter with no identifier at all (see section 4). For the site to work, only a few items are kept on your device, in the browser's local storage. They are not sent to us, except for the sign-in token, which is sent to the sign-in server in order to identify you.
2. What is stored on your device
- Acceptance of the terms (cx_consent_v1) — so that we do not ask you again on every visit. Kept until you delete it.
- The confirmation before the first analysis (cx_upload_ok_v2) — that you have the right to use the recordings and that the chord sheets are for personal use. Kept until you delete it, so that we do not ask you to tick it again.
- Display, language and accessibility preferences (cx_theme, cx_lang, cx_zoom, cx_sync, cx_installed, cx_side_mini, maftea-prefs) — theme, language, text size and interface settings. Kept until you delete them.
- Sign-in token (sb-…-auth-token) — only if you signed in; keeps you signed in between visits. Deleted when you sign out.
- Model integrity check (cx_model_check, session storage) — deleted when the tab is closed.
- Last date counted by the visit counter (cx_vday) — a date only, with no identifier; prevents the same browser from being counted twice on the same day.
- Application cache (Service Worker / Cache Storage) — the site's files and the recognition model, so that the site loads quickly and works offline.
The music assistant keeps nothing from the conversation on your device and sets no cookie: the conversation exists only in the memory of the open page, is not written to local storage or to the application cache, and disappears when you reload or close the page.
3. Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosts the site. At our last check the site set no cookie at all; Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example to identify malicious traffic).
- Google / Discord — only if you choose to sign in through them: the sign-in takes place on their own sites, where their cookies and policies apply.
- Fonts — served from the site itself. No request is made to Google Fonts.
The site contains no embedded videos, no social-network share buttons and no third-party tracking code. The links to Discord and YouTube are ordinary links; nothing is loaded from them until you click.
4. Why there is no cookie-consent banner
What is stored on your device is necessary to provide a service you asked for, and there is no personal tracking, profiling or advertising. The visit counter records an aggregate number only — no cookie and no identifier — and it runs only after you have accepted the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy on the entry screen. No separate cookie-consent banner is therefore required. If we ever add a measurement tool that identifies users, or any third-party component, it will run only after you have given prior consent, and this document will be updated.
5. How to delete

1. The situation today
The Service is provided free of charge, with no purchase, charge or payment processing. There is therefore currently no transaction to cancel and no amount to refund. This document sets out in advance the rules that will apply if and when paid credit bundles are offered.
2. Cancelling a purchase of a credit bundle
- A purchase may be cancelled within 14 days of the transaction date or of receiving the transaction details document, whichever is later, under section 14C of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.
- The refund covers unused credits. Credits already used for an analysis are a service that has been fully provided and are not refundable — except in the case of a fault (section 3).
- Where the cancellation is not due to a defect or non-conformity, the Operator may charge a cancellation fee not exceeding 5% of the transaction price or NIS 100, whichever is lower. No fee is charged where the cancellation is due to a defect, non-conformity or breach by the Operator.
- The money will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice, to the means of payment used for the transaction.
- A person with a disability, a senior citizen and a new immigrant are entitled to a longer cancellation period, under the conditions set by law.
3. A failed analysis
If an analysis fails because of a fault in the Service, the credits charged for it are returned to the account. If that did not happen automatically, contact us and we will return them manually.
4. Coupons and gift credits
Credits received free of charge — a joining gift, a coupon or compensation — cannot be converted into money.
5. How to cancel
Send a cancellation notice to chordix.business@gmail.com, with the account name (email address) and the purchase date. You may also cancel in any other way permitted by law.
6. Rights under law
Nothing in this document derogates from any right that cannot be waived under the Consumer Protection Law or any other law.

4. Supabase JavaScript Client
The sign-in and database access library, by Supabase, distributed under the MIT licence: Copyright (c) 2020 Supabase. The licence text is identical to the one above, with the name of the rights holder changed.
5. Note on the models' training data
The chord recognition model (BTC) was trained by its creators as part of academic research, on well-known chord annotation collections (Isophonics, Robbie Williams, UsPop2002) and on recordings they collected from online music services, as described in the project's repository. The singing-detection model (section 6) was trained by its authors on the AudioSet dataset. The Operator did not train these models or add training data to them: it uses the weights published by their creators, under the licences set out here, and the models run on your device only. This notice is provided for transparency; it does not constitute a representation by the Operator as to the training data or its status.
6. Singing-detection model — PANNs (MobileNetV1)
Detecting which parts of a song are sung (used to split the structure into verse, chorus and so on) relies on the MobileNetV1 network from PANNs — Pretrained Audio Neural Networks (Qiuqiang Kong et al., “PANNs: Large-Scale Pretrained Audio Neural Networks for Audio Pattern Recognition”, IEEE/ACM TASLP 2020). The source code (qiuqiangkong/audioset_tagging_cnn) is distributed under the MIT licence; the trained weights (Zenodo record 3987831) under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0) — https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
Changes we made to the weights: the network was converted to ONNX, pruned to output only the singing and speech classes, and quantised to int8 (weights only) to bring the file down to about 4 MB. This modified version is not endorsed by the original authors and does not represent them. The network runs on your device only; the recording is never sent anywhere.

7. The music assistant's AI models
The music assistant's answers to free-form questions that its built-in answers do not cover may be generated by open artificial intelligence models that Cloudflare runs on its Workers AI service. The models run at Cloudflare; they are not distributed by this site and are not downloaded to your device: Google Gemma 4, distributed under the Apache License 2.0, and, as a fallback, Zhipu AI's GLM-4.7-Flash, distributed under the MIT licence.
